Tiffany Lin

Instructor I

Tiffany is a visual artist, wordsmith, and dreamer. Through drawing, writing, printmaking, and performance, her work investigates the nebulous distinction between want, need, and desire in context of political and capitalist spectacles. By manipulating vernacular language and signifiers of chance, she reveals how manifestations of want are informed by the nation state, free markets, and imperialist legacies. Recent collaborative partners include the Children's Discovery Museum of San José, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Museum of Impact, Litografiska Akademin Tidaholm, San José's Exhibition District, and the Uni Project.

MFA, Illustration Practice, Maryland Institute College of Art, 2017.
BA, Gender & Women's Studies and Psychology, UC Berkeley, 2011.
