Aaron Rosenstreich

Aaron Rosenstreich is a photographer that uses various historic and contemporary photographic technologies as descriptive tools to explore themes of age, place, and time. The intersection between these themes is the foundation his images are built upon. He received his BFA from the State University of New York at Purchase: School of Art and Design in 2003 and his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2007. Rosenstreich lives and works in San Francisco. In addition, Rosenstreich is the proprietor of Aggregate Space Lab, a hybrid analog/digital darkroom and a public space for photographic workshops, exhibitions and lectures. The darkroom has the dual ability to utilize current digital workflows including scanning and printing, plus gelatin silver printing and alternative process photography.
