swell gallery

The Swell Gallery is a graduate student-run art space dedicated to the examination of the role of the gallery in an educational sphere. The mission of the Swell Gallery is to provide a venue for the exploration and discussion of varying artistic perspectives from the student body, operating as a platform for exhibition, events, and dialogue.

The Swell Gallery is located on the second floor of SFAI’s Graduate Center at 2565 Third Street, and is open to the public.

Special Event

President Desmarais will host a cocktail hour for graduate students Thursday, October 4, at 5:30. Come by the gallery for food, wine, and great conversation. The agenda for the night is wide open, so please bring any questions you might have!

Hours:
Monday through Friday, 9 am–5 pm
Openings are scheduled biweekly on Thursday nights from 7–9 pm.
