SFAI's Summer Institute offers an exciting and thought-provoking series of courses, lectures, and events for enrolled students, non-degree and continuing education students, and the general public.
The Summer Institute comprises the following programs:
- Low-Residency MFA Program (Priority application deadline for Summer 2012 entry is January 15. After January 15, applications will be accepted on a space-available basis.)
- Summer Undergraduate Residency Program (Summer 2012 dates are June 18-August 10. Applications are due April 1.)
- Intensive courses and master classes
- Graduate Lecture Series
- Faculty-Led Programs that travel to international and domestic locations
- Art Criticism Conference, now in its 26th year
- Symposia
- Community programs such as PreCollege, the Young Artist Program, and Adult Continuing Education
