Eligibility Requirements

  • Academic Requirements
  • English Composition A & B
  • Humanities A & B
  • 2 of 3 art history courses (Global Art History, Modernity and Modernism, Contemporary Art Now)
  • Students must have completed at least 24 units at SFAI and have junior status by time of semester abroad
  • 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Language skills may be required for certain schools

Tuition and Fees

While participating in an SFAI-sponsored Study Abroad program, students maintain enrollment at SFAI and continue to pay full tuition and fees to SFAI. Students are eligible to receive all federal, state and institutional financial aid (if applicable) while on exchange and must maintain health insurance either through SFAI or a private carrier.
