New Student IDs
Your student ID card is an all-access pass to SFAI. You can use it to check out library books and audio-visual equipment, purchase food at the campus café, receive free admission to SFMOMA, and get other exciting discounts around the city.
To receive your ID at orientation, you must submit identification info and a photo by January 6, 2014. Log in with your username and password to http://moodle.sfai.edu to begin the submission process. If you are a new student, you should have reiceived your username and password in an email from our IT deparment earlier this summer. Detailed instructions for submitting your ID photo can be found here.
Please keep in mind the following guidelines when selecting a photo:
- Choose a recent color photo of yourself. Your entire head and shoulders must be visible, and you should be facing the camera. Photographs in which you are wearing a hat, sunglasses, or anything else that obscures your face or head will not be accepted.
- Save your photograph as a JPG or JPEG file and name the file with your student ID number. You will receive an email this summer with your student ID number. You can also find it on your schedule of classes.
- Image files must not be larger than 2 MB.
