Student IDs
Please send us your photo! Sending a photo of yourself by August 15, 2011 will ensure that you not only like your ID photo, but that your ID card will be ready for you on the first day of Orientation. Follow these instructions to submit your own picture:
1. Find a recent color photograph of yourself. Your entire head and shoulders must be visible, and you should be facing directly towards the camera. Photographs in which you are wearing a hat, sunglasses, or other materials that cover portions of your face or head will not be accepted.
2. Save your photograph as a JPG or JPEG file, naming your file by First Name and Last Name (ex. Xavier Ortez.jpg).
3. Email your photograph as an attachment to studentaffairs@sfai.edu. In the body of your email, include the following information:
-First and Last Name
-Date of Birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
-Telephone Number
- SFAI Program (BA / BFA / PB / MA / MFA)
4. You will receive an email regarding the acceptance or rejection of the photograph you submitted. If your photograph is rejected, you will be asked to submit a new one.
Your student ID card allows you to check out materials at the SFAI Library, and also grants you numerous student discounts.

Need a replacement ID?
Replacement IDs cost $5 payable at the Cashier’s Office on Chestnut Street. Once you have been given a receipt from the Cashier’s Office, stop by the Student Affairs Office to have a new ID printed.
