student engagement

SFAI is a vibrant community of artists and scholars whose campus events reflect the diverse interests of our students.

On any given day, you may find students listening to live music in the quad, discussing art criticism, attending a Diego Rivera Gallery opening or an artist lecture, joining friends for an impromptu jam session, or participating in the numerous clubs and organizations on campus.

SFAI’s registered student clubs and organizations run the gamut from artistic and intellectual endeavors to recreational and social activities. New clubs are constantly being formed, and the registration process is easy. If you don’t see a club or organization that meets your interests, we encourage you to propose a new club at any time during the semester.

Students are also encouraged to participate in SFAI’s student government, composed of the undergraduate Student Union and the Legion of Graduate Students (LOGS). These highly active groups are committed to making the SFAI student experience fulfilling for everyone.
