registration and records

Registrar's Office

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm

The Registrar's Office provides substantive consultation and administrative support in matters pertaining to the curriculum, enrollment, academic programs, and transfer credit policy and practice.

The office maintains timely and accurate records of the academic progress of SFAI’s students, and is responsible for the interpretation and enforcement of the Academic Policies as described in the Student Handbook. It also provides for the access and release of statistical and individually identifiable information to appropriate persons at SFAI and to federal and state accrediting and other organizations according to regulations that are subscribed to by accredited schools in higher education.

The Registrar’s Office is guided by the policies and ethical standards of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (AACRAO) and the American Council on Education.

Policy Statement

All students should read the general regulations found both in the course schedule and in the current student handbook. Lack of familiarity with sections pertaining to any issues in question does not excuse students from the obligation to follow the policies and procedures set out therein. Although every effort has been made to ensure that both the course schedule and the current student handbook are as accurate as possible, students are advised that
the information contained in them is subject to change or correction. Students should check for addenda to the course schedule on WebAdvisor. SFAI reserves the right to change any curricular offering, policy, requirement, or financial regulation whenever necessary and as the requirements of SFAI demand.

For a printed copy of the student handbook, send a request via email to Student Affairs at studentaffairs@sfai.edu or visit the Student Affairs Office at the 800 Chestnut Street campus.
