Due to our small program and course sizes, acceptance into the program and course selection is competitive. We highly recommend applying early, or by the priority application deadline of April 2, 2018.

Acceptance to SFAI PreCollege does not automatically enroll you in courses. In addition to applying early, we recommend submitting your tuition deposit promptly in order to have the best chance of getting into your first-choice courses. You will be notified by phone and e-mail of an admissions decision within one week of receiving your completed application and materials.

“SFAI let me exist solely as an artist. I was treated as an individual, and experienced life for myself. I grew as an artist technically, but more than that I found a voice for myself which I didn't have before. I learned to be vulnerable, but also was expected to be responsible. This program is a once in a life time opportunity, and I loved every second of it.”
