prospective international students
Thank you for your interest in the San Francisco Art Institute. Please visit the following Admissions Office webpages to learn more about SFAI academic programs, admission requirements, and the undergraduate and graduate admissions process:
International Undergraduate Applicants
International Graduate Applicants
Please note, applications from non-U.S. citizens are not considered complete for review until the Non-U.S. Citizen Supplement and a copy of your passport (for F-1 students) has been submitted to the Admissions Office.
If you are admitted to SFAI, the Admissions Office will include the International Student Financial Certification Form with your admissions packet to begin the steps in processing the I-20 for F-1 students. If you do not receive this or have any questions prior to your admission to SFAI, contact SFAI Admissions directly at admissions@sfai.edu.
Once the International Student Financial Certification Form is complete, return it directly to the Global Programs Office as soon as possible. At this point, the Global Programs Office will be your main source for information on preparing for your arrival to SFAI. However, any questions regarding academics, transcripts, TOEFL scores, and registering for classes should still be directed to your Admissions counselor.
