Pre-Departure Materials

Each SFAI Study Abroad Program has a set of pre-departure information including travel documents, visa requirements and processes, and resources to help you prepare for your journey abroad. Students should read over all materials carefully, and share them with appropriate friends and family members.

Shortly after you are offered admission, you will receive an official admission letter plus additional communication directly from your host school’s abroad office detailing more information. Depending on your host country’s visa requirements, you may need the official admissions letter for visa applications and/or entry into your host country.

SFAI strongly encourages you to consult other sources in addition to these materials, to learn as much about the location of your study abroad program as possible.
