non-sfai study abroad programs
SFAI students are welcome to participate in a non-SFAI study abroad program. A non-SFAI study abroad program means that neither SFAI faculty nor the Global Programs Office has reviewed the quality of the program and there is no official affiliation tying the experience to SFAI. Credit transfer and the use of financial aid are not guaranteed, although in most cases, with careful planning, credits can transfer and most federal and state aid may be applied. Note: SFAI scholarships and fellowships cannot be applied to a non-SFAI study abroad program.
Application Process
Once you have identified a program, you should make an appointment with the Global Programs Office. Prior to applying to the program, meet with Financial Aid and the Undergraduate Academic Advisor to review financial aid options and possible credit transfer.
