Megann Sept Interim Dean of Students Megann oversees Career Resources, Student Conduct, Leadership, the first-year Mentorship program, and Student Health Insurance. Megann joined SFAI in October 2008, after completing her MFA in Creative Writing at Emerson College. Her previous experience includes teaching in a first-year writing program, facilitating first-year learning communities, and working in residence life. She is currently at work on her first book, a collection of short stories. |

Marina Chatterton, LCSW Director of Counseling Services Marina received an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work and completed a fellowship in College Mental Health from Harvard University. She has 15 years of experience working in the mental health field and has worked as a therapist at Pratt Institute and Sarah Lawrence College. As field faculty, she supervises social work interns from UC Berkeley and Smith. |

Shannon Plath Assistant Director of Student Life for Global Programs Shannon joined SFAI in August 2009 from UC Berkeley and holds a master's degree in international education from the SIT Graduate Institute. She discovered her love for travel and exploring other cultures during college and has since lived in Italy and England and spent four months traveling around the world. Shannon also enjoys cooking, hiking, and trying new SF restaurants. |

Anthony Molinar Assistant Director of Student Life for Housing and Residential Life Anthony holds a BA in Language Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He was deeply involved in student affairs at UCSC, holding positions as a community programs assistant and a community advisor, as well as several other student leadership positions in his time there. Anthony worked for the Facilities Management office at the University of San Francisco prior to joining SFAI and is excited to have the opportunity to combine his passion for residential life and his experience with housing and facilities. |

Jaclyn Calderon Coordinator of Student Life and Civic Engagement Jaclyn Calderon comes to her role as Coordinator of Student Life and Civic Engagement having graduated with her BFA in Painting from SFAI. During her time at SFAI, Jaclyn represented undergraduate students in Student Union, serving as Chair prior to her graduation. With her love for fellow art students and a passion for creating experiences that are both fun and engaging, Jaclyn's new role as the official “Czar of Fun” at SFAI is a perfect match. A Bay Area native, Jaclyn has also studied in Argentina and London and lived in Los Angeles. She enjoys spending time outdoors, is a practical joker at heart, and loves anything that begins with the word chocolate. |

Rye Purvis Housing Coordinator Rye received a BFA in Painting from SFAI in the spring of 2011. Having worked with the Student Affairs staff as a Resident Advisor for two academic years and three PreCollege cycles, Rye became the Housing Coordinator in fall 2011 as a natural career progression. For the past two years, Rye has been an Artist Instructor for the Meridian Interns Program, a 15-year-old program in which low-income teens from the Bay Area are taught multiple art mediums as well as job-related skills. Rye's most recent artwork was featured in a video installation on Market St., funded through the San Francisco Arts Commission. |
