Low-Residency MFA Curriculum

The flexible schedule of the Low-Residency MFA program permits students to study with SFAI resident and visiting faculty for three summers. Students in the three-year program enroll in 18 or 21 units per year for a total of 60 units.

The summer Graduate Lecture Series is an additional component of the Low-Residency MFA program and is required for all students.
