Liz Demi Green

Interdisciplinary Studies

Liz Demi Green is an award-winning playwright, poetry slam champion, and emerging novelist. Her writing has been published in several journals and anthologies; she has featured at numerous venues and been a part of three national theater festivals. She was a 2010 Lambda Literary Emerging Voices Fellow and attended Tin House Writers’ Workshop in 2012 for her fiction writing. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Mills and a BA in American Culture from Vassar College. She was accepted into the Catwalk Artists’ Residency in 2013. In her composition courses, she enjoys teaching the art of the graphic novel and spoken word poetry as well as other literature.
