Kevin Consey served a number of museums as Director for over thirty years; in New York, San Antonio, Southern California, and most recently the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (1989-1999) and the UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (1999-2008). Throughout most of his career, he has also taught museum studies or art history part time, most recently at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the California College of Art. He currently works as Executive VIce President for Art and Programs for the Harriet and Esteban Vicente Foundation in New York and Madrid.
