Our historic Chestnut Street campus, located in Russian Hill, serves both undergraduates and graduates with fully equipped facilities and state-of-the-art technology resources, a library, galleries, a lecture hall, and a courtyard café boasting one of the best views in San Francisco.

The general public is also welcome to explore the campus: see the Diego Rivera Mural, visit our galleries, eat at the café, attend one of our many events, or rent a venue for your own special occasion.
The Graduate Center, in an industrial loft building in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood, provides 50,000 square feet of space to support the academic and studio needs of graduate students. The center houses over 150 individual and group studios for graduate students and visiting artists, classrooms, seminar rooms, a computer lab, film and photography studios, a wood shop, a student lounge, graduate program offices, wall space and installation rooms for the display of student work, and the Swell Gallery.
