f1 transfer students

If you are currently an F-1 student in the United States, you will need to ask your previous school to transfer your F-1 record to SFAI. SFAI cannot create a new I-20 until your F-1 record has been released to us.

Transfer students should contact the Global Programs Office to discuss your plans prior to your arrival at SFAI and the best SEVIS release date of your record. Transfer students have specific travel rules that they must adhere to, so it is important to discuss details with the Global Programs Office as early as possible.
