Goodluck…Miss you, too
Monday, Dec 1, 2014 - Tuesday, Dec 2, 2014
San Francisco Art Institute Bell Tower

Goodluck…Miss you, too is a two-light installation piece by artist and current MFA candidate Aaron Kissman. Throughout World AIDS Day, two lights atop SFAI’s historic bell tower will flash at regular intervals, symbolizing the rate of new HIV infection (every 15 seconds) and the rate of lives lost to the illness (every 20 seconds).

Through this large-scale work, Kissman hopes to challenge the SFAI and San Francisco communities to reengage and re-substantialize HIV/AIDS awareness for the current generation of young people who did not live through the AIDS crisis in the 1980s.
