Robert Crouch is a Los Angeles–based artist and curator. He is currently associate director/curator at LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions) and a founding member of VOLUME—a curatorial project that functions as a catalyst for interdisciplinary new media and sound work.

As an artist, Crouch works across a wide range of media, including photography, sound, installation, video, and sculpture. His work has been exhibited internationally, and he has performed at numerous venues, including the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; and The Stone, New York. At LACE, Crouch has most recently organized the video installation and survey Steve Roden: Shells, Bells, Steps, and Silences, as well as the exhibition Group Dynamics and Improper Light, on the work of Los Angeles–based artist Gina Osterloh. Through VOLUME, Crouch has worked with numerous artists in diverse media, including William Basinski, Nate Boyce, Richard Chartier, Loren Chasse, Tim Hecker, France Jobin, Kadet Kuhne, Lucky Dragons, Carsten Nicolai, and Semiconductor. VOLUME has presented projects at venues including the Hammer Museum, the de Young Museum, the San Francisco Art Institute, and SF Camerawork.
