Rhea Anastas is an art historian, educator, and curator. She co-founded Orchard, a cooperatively organized gallery that operated on New York’s Lower East Side from 2005 to 2008, and is currently Interim Director of the MA Art and Curatorial Practices in the Public Sphere program at Roski School of Fine Arts, USC.
Anastas has published three books: as co-editor, Witness to Her Art: Art and Writings by Adrian Piper, Mona Hatoum, Cady Noland, Jenny Holzer, Kara Walker, Daniela Rossell and Eau de Cologne (2006) and Dan Graham: Works 1965–2000 (2001); and as editor, Allan McCollum (2012).
