Commonly likened to the spirit of the New Topographics, Mark Ruwedel’s work addresses the physical ruins and metaphoric presence of the past on the landscape. Ruwedel’s photographs have recently been exhibited at Yossi Milo Gallery, New York; Nevada Museum of Art, Reno; Galerie Francoise Paviot, Paris; and Palais Rameau, Lille, France; and are in the permanent collections of institutions such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Tate Modern, and the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.
Introductory presentation by Janelle Lynch.
