San Francisco,

Iconofauxbia playfully explores Pop culture within a pseudo-religious framework, interpreting and manipulating its sound and imagery as evangelical elements. Playing with the idea of memorabilia, this multimedia exhibition functions as a mash-up, re-fabricating notable and sometimes cultish Pop imagery, synthesizing it into a new, yet strangely familiar, form, and resurrecting it in a new light. This is Spencer Holloway’s (Spencer Product) debut solo exhibition in the MFA program at the San Francisco Art Institute. For more information on Spencer, visit
