Birthdays can either mark a joyous anniversary, a rite of passage, an asinine gathering, or a cruel reminder of another year passed. "Crappy Birthday"  is a show that merges these viewpoints while ruminating upon birthdays as ceremony and as celebration.

Vessels of Infinite Geometries, a solo exhibition by Murat Adash, is a performance-installation in three acts. Composed of circular light projections and amplified sounds of breathing within an otherwise empty gallery space, the “empty space” will be activated by three performances in relation to the light and sound, on three consecutive days, lasting one hour each.

Performances: April 3 and 4 from 12-1pm, and April 5 from 7-8pm

Phantasmagoria takes on the idea of simulacra associated with the magic lantern show and uses it as a commentary on the transitory essence of projected imagery, the illusory nature of cinema as projection, and the power of an image to possess a space.
