On-Campus Employment

Working on campus is ideal for many students: it can provide extra income while in school, allow you to further connect to the community, and help you gain valuable experience.

To find an on-campus job, register for an account or log-in to SFAI Connect.

While most on-campus opportunities are posted on SFAI Connect, some are filled through word of mouth. If there is a specific department that you would like to work with, be sure to check with them first to inquire about possible openings. Contact the Career Resources Center for help connecting with a department.



Some students will notice a work-study award on their financial aid statement. A work-study award does not affect a student’s ability to work on campus; the majority of positions offered at SFAI are available to both work-study and non-work-study qualified students.


International Students

F-1 student and J-1 participant visa holders are eligible to work on campus for up to 20 hours per week during the regular academic year (while enrolled in courses), and up to 40 hours per week during winter and summer holiday breaks (if not enrolled in courses).
