The Career Resources Center offers comprehensive support to students and alumni in all career-related endeavors.

The Center provides one-on-one counseling for students and hosts workshops and panels introducing students to professionals working in the field. Support services are provided to assist in developing portfolios, writing a resume or cover letter, and applying for a grant or residency, as well as in basic career exploration and job search skills. Since SFAI is a small community, we are able to offer students comprehensive, personalized career counseling services.

Not only are students supported while they attend school, but the services offered at the Career Resources Center are available to alumni for life.

How to Best Support Your Student

Students who work with Career Services are better prepared to use their time at SFAI in a productive way and succeed in their chosen field when they graduate. The services available to students are relevant in their very first year at SFAI, and the earlier a student begins meeting with a career counselor, the better prepared he or she will be. Encouraging your student to visit our office, check out our online resources, or attend one of our programs is a great way to help your student maximize his or her career potential.
