Art Hazelwood creates art, organizes and curates exhibitions and works on social and political actions. He has published two books on art and homelessness. He works in a broad range of printmaking, from artist books to street posters. He has been a guest artist since 2008 at San Quentin State Prison where he works on collaborative print projects. His prints calling for impeaching Bush are at the Whitney Museum, his criticisms of the Iraq war at the Library of Congress. His prints on poverty and economic justice appear regularly in several West Coast street papers.
