Registration for Fall 2013 classes is now open!
Through its Adult Continuing Education (ACE) program, SFAI offers a range of non-credit evening and weekend classes for creative thinkers of all ages—from introductory classes to experimental and advanced. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in hands-on techniques, discuss contemporary issues in art with a diverse student population, and become a part of the open and experimental community that SFAI fosters.
Our talented faculty members are committed to supporting student’s technical and conceptual growth through individual and group instruction, engaging in the historic and contemporary contexts, and fostering the development of coherent and quality art practices.
All Adult Continuing Education students have the opportunity to exhibit their work publicly at the conclusion of the semester in our campus’ historic Diego Rivera Gallery.
Many of our students are working full-time, managing career transitions, or supporting families. All of our courses take place in the evenings and the weekends with varying lengths on our beautiful and historic Chestnut Street campus. This unique campus has inspired artists such as Mark Rothko, Ansel Adams, and Ed Hardy to find their voice. Now it’s your turn.
