Reagan Louie is Chair and associate professor in the Photography department. His work is in numerous museum collections and has been featured in solo exhibitions at Laurence Miller Gallery, New York, and Rena Bransten Gallery, San Francisco, which represents him. His most recent exhibition, Reagan Louie: Sex Work in Asia, was presented at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 2003, with a catalogue. He has won many awards, including Guggen-heim and Fulbright fellowships, the James D. Phelan Art Award, two National Endowment for the Arts grants, and the Dorothea Lange/Paul Taylor prize.
